What We’re Looking For
Employees must have:
- Paid work experience:
- in an aged Care Facility – for Aged Care Staff; or
- in the Community – for NDIS and Community Staff;
- NDIS Workers Screening Card;
- current APHRA registration (for Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses);
- their own vehicle or close access to public transport; and
- Australian or New Zealand citizenship or valid working visa.
The Recruitment Process
If you decide to proceed with a formal application, our recruitment process involves:
1. Interview
A personal one-on-one interview with a Heather Hill Recruitment Consultant.
During your interview you will meet our placement and management teams. It’s a chance for you to get a feel for our agency, and for us to get to know you better.
2. Theory Component
You will complete a theory component with questions focusing on situations you would encounter in a care support environment.
3. Practical Component
You will be assessed on your manual handling, handwashing and fire safety.
4. Reference Checks
You must provide the names of two relevant referees. We will contact your referees to discuss your suitability.
5. Notice of Outcome
Once we’ve reviewed your application and interview, you will receive a call from one of our Recruitment Consultants to let you know the outcome of your application.
